A hearty, filling and satisfying dish for the cooler months! I have absolutely looooved ginger ever since I was a kid! Ginger crunch and ginger beer have turned into ginger kombucha (for less sugar) and this recipe definitely hits the spot!
If you prefer to do meal prep for the week ahead, you can turn it into overnight oats by placing into jars or glasses and leaving in the fridge to soak up the liquid. Simply double the recipe as many times as you’d like!
The protein powder I use is Nuzest which I have been enjoying for years. It has a smooth texture, delicious flavour and only 3 ingredients!
Gingerbread Oats

- 3/4 c Oats
- 3/4 c Water
- 3/4 c Soy Milk
- 1 Tbsp Nuzest Protein
- Vanilla Extract (optional)
- 1 tsp Gingernut Almond Butter (I Used Food To Nourish, or just use peanut butter)
- 1 tsp Molasses
- A sprinkle of Cinnamon & Ginger
- Decorate with chopped Dates, Pecans & Shaved Coconut
Instructions
1. Heat the oats and liquid in the microwave until soft and absorbed. 2. Stir through protein, vanilla extract, then top with spices and decorations!
