Today I felt like doing something a little different and featuring someone who inspires me on social media!
I met @jessy.wallace at a Nuzest retreat in Byron Bay which was an awesome experience and since then I’ve loved seeing her meals and fridge inspo on Instagram. She’s a fully vegan mum and it’s given me an interesting insight..
Most people criticise vegan parents for ‘forcing their kids to eat that way’. Yet, they don’t stop to think about the processed crap they’re feeding their own kids like McDonalds, those little red sausages came to mind for me where the meat isn’t even meat π
Not to mention the lunchbox bars, soft drinks and sugary cereals π₯£
It’s so refreshing to see a child eating all natural foods from the earth in the colours of the rainbow π
Jessy also just released a free recipe e-book which is an awesome resource of easy-to-make meals!

My biggest tip for someone going veganβ¦ JUST BE SENSIBLE π±
- Iβve heard a lady say sheβs vegan and feels like crap, then admitted she mainly eats bread π
- You donβt need to go keto vegan to lose weight, that just cuts out TOO MANY food groups as our protein sources are usually higher in carbs π²
- You donβt need to eat only raw as certain nutrients are absorbed better cooked, and once again can be too restrictive for many people and hard to maintain long-term π―
When you take out certain food groups already, you need to make sure you eat a DIVERSE RANGE OF PLANTS π
You need to supplement correctly and get yearly check-ups of nutrients for preventative measures π
You need to eat ENOUGH ποΈββοΈ
I hear of girls encouraging their boyfriends/husbands to go vegan, then sending them off to a physical job with a piddly little salad π₯
BULK IT UP with quinoa, pasta, roast veggies, beans, hummus and seeds π₯
If anything, you should be paying MORE attention to how you fuel your body as itβs a bit more complex to make sure youβre getting everything you need and feeling your best π₯¬
I hope you enjoy these delicious recipes! Thanks Jessy!
